ON-GOING/PRESENT PROJECTS

• OSDU is currently setting up a 32 capacity Information & Communication Technology (ICT) Center in Ifon, the Headquarters of Ose Local Government. When completed, the center will boost the ICT skills of our students, provide a very good platform for elearning and eliminate the risk of travelling to Akure/Benin to register for WAEC and Joint Admission and Matriculation Examination (JAME). The long term plan is to register the facility as JAME center.

• Extension of Bursary Awards to Students of Tertiary and Higher Institutions and introduction of scholarships

• Design and Construction of Ultramodern Secretariat/Recreation Center for members

FUTURE PROJECTS.

• Complete renovation/upgrade of the dilapidated classroom blocks in selected primary and secondary schools across the local government
• Provision of portable drinking water for selected unserved/underserved communities of the LGA
• Provision of solar powered street lights in major roads of selected towns in the local government
• Provision of modern signage and naming of streets across the communities in the LGA
• Investment and development of sports and sporting activities among the youths in the LGA (OSDU’s Cup)
• Acquisition of land and development of estates for housing schemes for OSDU members in the LGA
